Songlutions Associates ("Songlutions") is a group of independent songwriters and performers, who are dedicated to providing the highest quality music on the Internet and elsewhere and who have banded together to help one another bring attention to their music and by promoting each other's music and websites.

Songlutions believes the music industry has concentrated so heavily on rap, heavy metal and other music that appeals primarily to teenage tastes that it has become virtually impossible for writers of other kinds of music to find publishers, record companies, or others who will even attempt to market any other kind of music. Any CD that doesn't seem likely to sell over a million copies won't get published today. For this reason, many outstanding songwriters and performers (some very well known) are now being forced to self-publish, and many more are simply no longer writing. This is an enormous loss to society.

Songlutions is convinced there is an audience for high quality, non-teen music, and it intends to offer it first on the Internet and, then, to develop economically viable ways of making this music available to the millions worldwide who still enjoy such music. Unfortunately, the limited quantity of such music that is available is lost in a sea of hundreds of thousands, no millions, of songs and CD's that are mass marketed on iTunes and similar sites. The writers/performers of such music remain buried in hopeless obscurity. Finally, to those few who can market their music in even a modest way, the music industry has found ways to deprive entertainers (and especially songwriters) from receiving a reasonable percentage of the revenue from their work.

In short, the music industry is failing a large segment of the public and virtually all of the writers and performers of that high quality music(such as those with Songlutions) that once dominated our society. Songlutions hopes to fill part of that void by offering an alternative to the public and to the songwriters and performers alike, by bringing together a repository of truly exceptional music and presenting it to the public in a way that those interested can actually find it and, then, by compensating the artists with an economically reasonable and fair percentage of the income earned.
